How Bad Do You Want It?

A man who grew up on the rough side of the tracks in Miami woke up one day and decided he wanted to make enough money and get himself and his family out of his neighborhood. He decided to find someone who could teach him how to do it.

He found an older gentleman who became a self - made millionaire that lived near the coast. So, the young man wrote a letter out of desperation. He explained his plight and need for a way out. The millionaire replied by saying, "I'll teach you how to be successful. Meet me at the beach at 4 am tomorrow morning."

The young man pulled out his best suit and met the millionaire right at 4am the next morning.

"Do you really want to be successful?" The millionaire asked.

"Yes, sir!" The you man replied.

"Meet me right here tomorrow at 4 am".

Then the millionaire walked away.

Though the young man was confused and disheartened, he can back the next day, right at 4 am.

"Do you want to be successful?" The millionaire asked again.

"Yes, sir" the young man replied

"You should've worn shorts."

He young man was perplexed. He wore his best suit to meet this man and to request shorts?

"Walk out into the water," the millionaire said.

"Yes, sir," the young man said reluctantly.

So, he walked out into the water knee deep.

"Keep going," said the millionaire.

How the young man is waist deep.

"Keep going".

Chest deep.

"Keep going".

Now he young man is fearful. The millionaire came out to meet him and walked even further.

A wave crashed into them and they were both under water.

The young man kicked and clawed and fought his way back to the surface.

As they walked back to shore, the millionaire asked, "When you were under the water, what was

the one thing you thought about above everything else?"

"I wanted to breathe, sir".

"To be successful, you have to want it as much as your need to breathe."

How bad do you want success? Your goal shouldn't be a hobby or something on the side. It should be a burning desire within you to see it come into fruition.

Set your goal with an end date. Live and breathe it, then it will be yours.
